Mr. Adams graduated from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana with a Master of Music in Woodwinds and from Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville, Tennessee with a Bachelor of Science in Instrumental Music Education


Mr. Adams has been Assistant Band Director, at Springfield High and Middle Schools in Springfield, Tennessee, Band Director at Lincoln County Central Junior High School and High School in Fayetteville, Tennessee, Saxophone Instructor and Assistant Band Director, Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He has taught part time woodwinds at Oakwood College, been an instructor of Saxophone, Flute, and Director of Jazz Band at the University of Alabama in Huntsville, and instructor of Saxophone at Alabama A&M University.



Mr. Adams has performed in the orchestras of The Temptations, Jim Nabors, Frankie Vallie and the Four Seasons, Steve Allen, The Four Tops, many touring broadway shows, and many local musical productions. Mr. Adams was a member of the Enterprise Saxophone Quartet: second prize winners in Discovery Chamber Music Competition, Chicago Illinois. Mr. Adams played saxophone, clarinet, and flute in "I Hear America Singing" and the '50's Show at Opryland USA Theme Park, Nashville Tennessee. Mr. Adams continues to perform and give clinics in the southeast. Mr. Adams is a former member of Huntsville's most amazing horn band, Time Machine.
